《中国医药科学》是国家卫生和计划生育委员会主管，海峡两岸医药卫生交流协会主办的国家级综合性医药专业学术期刊。国内刊号：CN 11-6006/R，国际刊号：ISSN 2095-0616，邮发代号：82-519。全国人大常委会副委员长桑国卫为本刊亲笔题写刊名;第八届全国政协副主席、第九届全国人大常委会副委员长、海峡两岸医药卫生交流协会名誉会长何鲁丽为本刊题词：“办好中国医药科学杂志，促进医药科技创新与交流”。《中国医药科学》杂志在各级领导和有关部门的关怀和支持下，建立了由桑国卫副委员长出任名誉主任，全国人大常委、卫生部原副部长、中华预防医学会会长王陇德院士出任主任;全国政协常委、全国政协教科文卫体委员会副主任张大宁，卫生部原副部长、中国卫生法学会会长孙隆椿，卫生部原副部长、中国医师协会会长殷大奎，卫生部原副部长、中国医院协会会长曹荣桂，卫生部原副部长、中国医药生物技术协会会长彭玉出任副主任， 60多位医药卫生主管部门、行业学(协)会、科研院所、高等院校的领导和30 多位 “两院”院士、首届“国医大师”出任顾问的顾问委员会;同时还建立了由1000多位医药科研、医药教育、临床医护等领域的知名专家、学者出任编委、审稿专家的编委会和专家指导委员会。《中国医药科学》立足医药科研、教育和临床研究前沿，面向海内外医药卫生界及相关行业，及时、准确地宣传我国发展医药卫生事业的政策与法规，客观、全面地报道医药卫生科研进展和行业发展动态，积极、快速地发布国内广大医药卫生工作者的新思路、新理论、新观点、新发现、新技术、新成果、新方法、新措施、新经验等原创论文，全方位、高密度、大容量地传递医药科研资讯，广泛而深入地促进中外医药学术交流。
